Projects and Contracts Officer

 

Nestled just 25 minutes from Tasmania’s vibrant capital Hobart, New Norfolk is a great base for the successful candidate to either work or reside in order to take up this role.   The Derwent Valley is a stunning location with diversity from a bustling town centre through to spectacular world heritage wilderness areas.

Criteria

We are seeking an experienced Projects and Contracts Officer who can:

  • demonstrate knowledge and experience in developing a project management framework to manage the program of capital works projects
  • prepare governance reports, presentations and other documentation
  • manage contract and undertake tender processes
  • can build and maintain effective relationships with project sponsors, managers, stakeholders and external agencies and vendors
  • demonstrate problem solving abilities , prioritisation and the ability to meet deadlines.

You will have:

  • a relevant qualification in project management; or
  • a minimum of 3-4 years relevant experience, including project/portfolio management
  • a current driver’s licence.
